Keep Lee County Beautiful would like to thank all of the volunteers and supporters who makes this event possible. Without you we would not be able to make such a positive impact on our local environment. Our volunteers jump right in at numerous sites and gather thousands of pounds of litter. Getting all of this gathered before it can make its way out into the Gulf is a significant accomplishment and we are so thankful to everyone involved that played a part in getting this done.
Every year, many volunteers will be needed to help in this international cleanup effort to rid Florida’s coastlines of litter, pollution and debris. The sites throughout Lee County are coordinated each year by Keep Lee County Beautiful, Inc. for collection and documentation of beach litter. This is a global effort and we will be looking for volunteers to assist us again in the Annual International Coastal Cleanup. Thank you for your support!
If you’d like to be a Site Coordinator for a Lee County coastal cleanup, email Mike Thomas at Mike@klcb.org to stake your claim. If you know of other sites in need of help, please let us know.
